Those things cost a lot but they are built well.

Yes please.

As a rule, I'm against most LS swaps. For some reason most of them rankle with me, but these I rather like. Modern-day AC Cobra.

To me, the most amazing part of the FM LS swap is how little weight it adds to the car, something like 200lbs.

Because all aluminum V8 and the LS is actually very compact for being a 5.7-7.0L engine. LSx>All!

What? That's definitely going to be offset just a bit.

I wonder what kind of swaps you can do with an MR2 now.

Yeah, you get 5x the stock HP and you're only adding as much weight as a moderately heavy adult passenger. Supposedly with a 67/33 weight distribution, so the handling is still amazing.

That sounds like Zeus given angry pills.

It is very impressive, and I've heard that with the best spec builds they do the weight distribution is unchanged from stock. They use a CTS-V rear diff (maybe the whole suspension unit, I can't remember), so the added weight at the front is offset by the weight at the rear.
